Dreamcatcher (Korean: 드림캐쳐; formerly known as MINX; also stylized as Dream Catcher) is a South Korean girl group formed by Happy Face Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon. They officially debuted on January 13, 2017, with the single album Nightmare. In many Native American tribes, a dream catcher is a handmade willow hoop woven to a web or literally, a net. They can include feathers and beads, and they're traditionally suspended on cradles as a form of armor and protection. Dream catchers can be traced back to the Ojibwes.

Dream catchers follow the Native American legends that your bad dreams are caught in the web and in the first rays of sunlight they perish. Your good dreams filter through the web and enter your mind. Only good dreams will be remembered. The dream catcher is made in a circle to represent how the sun and the moon travel across the sky. Feathers on the dream catcher represent air or breath, essential for life, Gem stones represent the four directions.
